Jim joined Century Management in 1987.  Along with his overall investment responsibilities, Jim oversees the small- and mid-cap research team and is the lead portfolio manager for the CM Small Cap Value separate account strategy, the CM Fixed Income separate account strategy, the CM Advisors Small Cap Fund (CMOVX), and the CM Advisors Fixed Income Fund (CMFIX).  He is also part of the CM Advisors Fund (CMAFX) portfolio management team.

Murray is responsible for creating, consolidating, and maintaining multiple software systems and databases into one useable internal program we call the "CM Dashboard". This allows our research department to distill the massive amount of financial data that is available into manageable spreadsheets, reports, and easy to use interfaces. In addition, Murray completes other programming requests for the many special and one-time projects that occur throughout the year, as well as automates routine and sometimes complex tasks that help save time and additional resources.
