Learning the business from his father, Jim Brilliant, CFA®, and grandfather, Arnold Van Den Berg, Greyson grew up observing the work ethic and discipline required to succeed in investing. The firm has been a part of his life from the beginning.

Greyson spent three consecutive summers working as an intern at the firm, assisting with investment models and software development. He officially became a full-time member of the investment team in 2016. Greyson has been a CFA® charterholder since 2023.

Today, Greyson is a senior member of the investment team with all-cap research responsibilities. He is directly involved in the fundamental analysis of companies, including identifying new investment opportunities that align with the firm’s long-term philosophy and maintaining research coverage on existing holdings.

Greyson attended Rhodes College on an academic scholarship, graduating cum laude with a B.A. in Commerce & Business. He broadened his perspective at the University of Antwerp, studying international marketing in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and Germany. While at Rhodes, Greyson served as captain of the tennis team.

When not at work, Greyson and his wife, Isabella, enjoy hiking with their golden retriever and wake-surfing with friends on Lake Austin. Greyson continues to play competitive tennis, enjoys cooking, and traveling.
